Military and Veterans

As an active member of the United States military or Coast Guard, whether you are serving on Active Duty, in the National Guard, or as a Reservist, you're making a great sacrifice to keep our nation safe and protect our way of life.  At LCNE, we want to show you our appreciation by helping you earn your college degree while minimizing your out-of-pocket expenses.

To support our men and women in uniform AND their families, we:

  • Offer reduced tuition rates. Tuition for service members and their families is $250 per credit hour, regardless of the modality of learning. This means whether pursuing your degree online or at our campus, your tuition rate is $250 per credit hour.
  • Waive the application and registration fees.
  • Recognize and award college credit for your military training and experience. (You will be asked to provide a Joint Services Transcript (JST), Community College of the Air Force (CCAF) Transcript, or Coast Guard Institute (CGI) Transcript. Programmatic and Commencement fees remain in effect. Specific information on fees and costs can be found on the Tuition & Fees page.)

Your first step toward an LCNE education will be to obtain a copy of your Joint Services Transcript (JST) or Coast Guard Institute Transcripts.  Click here to obtain your CCAF Transcripts. Also please have an official copies sent to LCNE.

Once you have been accepted and matriculate to LCNE, your tuition rate will remain at the $250 per credit hour rate even when you make the transition from the military back to civilian life as a veteran, as long as you maintain your enrollment with LCNE. This includes family members as well.
