Law Enforcement, Homeland Security, and Corrections

In our commitment to support our men and women in Blue and those working in fields of Corrections and Homeland Security, the Board of Trustees of Lincoln College of New England (LCNE) is pleased to announce a new educational partnership: Operation Blue Lights. Through this partnership, all Law Enforcement, Homeland Security, and Corrections Officers, as well as their dependents, can take advantage of significant savings while earning their college degree or certificate from LCNE.

LCNE is a regionally accredited college that is as committed to the community and service to the general public.

LCNE understands the demands on your time, as well as how costly education can be. Operation Blue Lights hopes to address both of these issues for you and your immediate family.  Details of the partnership are as follows:

Elements of the Blue Lights Program:

  • Reduced tuition rate to $400 per semester hour.
  • Waiver of all standard fees, including the application fee. [Please note: for students wishing to pursue Dental or Occupational Therapy degrees, program fees will still apply.]
  • Tuition reduction and fee waivers are available to current Law Enforcement, Federal Homeland Security, Corrections, and U.S Border Patrol Officers.
  • These benefits are also made available to spouses and children of current Law Enforcement Officers, Federal Homeland Security Officers, Corrections Officers, and U.S Border Patrol Officers.
  • We will recognize up to 24 credit hours for transfer into the Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree programs in Criminal Justice for successful completion of a state accredited police or service academy.** Transfer credits may be recognized from military education and experience as evidenced on a Joint Services Transcript, Coast Guard Institute (CGI), or Community College of the Air Force (CCAF) transcript.
  • Flexible learning models, including online and on-campus options, are available for many programs.
