Criminal Justice Careers with a Bachelor's Degree

Interested in launching a new career with your Criminal Justice Degree?

Employment opportunities include work as police staff, correctional officers, correctional treatment staff and related occupations in the general field of criminal justice. A Bachelor’s degree is normally the preferred credential for those interested in pursuing a career within the world of criminal justice. Depending upon your career goal and location, further training may be required. We encourage all students to check with their local town and state law enforcement agencies. Employers require criminal background checks of prospective employees. Persons with felony convictions and some misdemeanor convictions may not be able to find work in this field. Students are encouraged to research career outlook information through The Occupational Information Network (O*NET)  which is sponsored by the United States Department of Labor/Employment and Training Administration (USDOL/ETA).

Contact your admissions representative today to learn more about possible career paths and internship opportunities, and to discuss your personal and professional goals in detail!
