The Associate of Science (AS) degree offered at Lincoln College of New England is designed to produce graduates who will satisfy employers’ demands for trained dental hygienists and who are able to communicate effectively, use critical thinking skills, value diversity and teamwork, and are well-rounded, contributing members of society. They are also designed to prepare students for transfer to a baccalaureate program.
Our Dental Chairside Assistant and Dental Hygiene programs in CT are accredited by the Commission on Dental Accreditation and have been granted the accreditation status of approval without reporting requirements. The Commission on Dental Accreditation is a specialized accrediting body recognized by the United States Department of Education.
